How much does recyclables collection cost for a business in Montreal?
The price generally depends on four things: your volume, the collection frequency, and the container type and size. Rather than selling you an average rate, we assess your real volume during a free site visit, then give you an all-inclusive quote. It's the only way to get a fair price, without paying for capacity you don't use. You also get discounts by combining several of our services.
Does Recyca+ supply the bins and containers?
Yes. Wheeled bins of 120, 240, 360, 660 and 1,100 litres, for rent or purchase, as well as containers suited to your space and your volume. Recyca+ is affiliated with NI Corporation, a manufacturer and distributor of recycling equipment: we choose the equipment with you based on your space and your dock.
What materials can go in the commercial recycling bin?
Generally packaging and printed paper. Corrugated and flat cardboard, paper (newspaper, magazines, office paper), plastics (bottles, rigid and flexible packaging), metal (aluminum cans, tins) and glass (bottles). We support your team with sorting at the source so they know exactly what goes in which bin. Contamination is what drives bills up.
Do you collect cardboard on its own for businesses?
Yes, and it's often the most cost-effective option. For businesses that generate large volumes of boxes (grocery stores, shops, distribution centres), we install equipment dedicated to cardboard. Source-separated cardboard is worth more on the recyclables market, which can reduce your monthly bill and generate revenue in some cases. We also offer baled cardboard collection.
Which areas do you serve?
All of Greater Montreal: the island of Montreal (including all boroughs and related municipalities), Laval, Longueuil, the North Shore and the South Shore. If you're outside these areas, call us anyway — we can often extend our routes.
How often can you come?
The frequency is decided after our free visit: we look at your real volume rather than selling you a generic schedule. We adjust along the way if your needs change, without charging you a renegotiation.
